About
My journey into medicine began when I was young, translating at doctors’ appointments for my family that only spoke Spanish. These experiences made me acutely aware of the limitations of conventional medicine in addressing complex, chronic conditions. I often saw my relatives receive treatments that didn’t bring the relief they were looking for, which deepened my commitment to finding ways to truly support others’ health.
For a long time, I thought becoming a doctor was the only path to make a difference. However, during college, while researching ways to manage my own stress and migraines, I discovered acupuncture. My first treatment was a revelation—I was immediately drawn to its gentle yet profound approach. I felt I had found a method that addressed health in a way that honors the unique experience of each individual.
Now, after 15 years in practice, I am still in awe of acupuncture’s ability to bring deep healing and balance to my patients. It’s my privilege to share this medicine with others, supporting them on their journey to wellness.
